How to prepare for the worse...

We are struggling financially. It makes me worry because the job I work does not pay very well and I have to travel to get here.

There are other jobs but they are either the same distance or further away as we live out in the boonies. I also deal with depression so having a job that I can easily deal with is important to me.

Best things to invest in? Silver and Gold. They are commodities.

Been there, done that. Still doing, to some extent.

Hope things work out for you.

If it's financial troubles you are worried about, do a trial run. A week, a month. What ever you can stand.

Pretend you have no job, no income, and must cut back. Then assess where you went wrong and attempt to fix it.

It's likely that I'll be in that situation this year. I need to have a clear plan. I can't simply sit back and let fate take it's course.

Really? Quality ammo never goes down in value in an emergency. 1000 rounds of M855 223 is now selling for $1.65 per round, or $1,650. Last month, it was under $500 at the most expensive sellers.

Ammo is fantastic currency.
