How to get oil from 5 gallon buckets into my engine?

Like most people on here know I work at an auto parts store and I end up with a lot of brand new oil of various brands and flavors, whether the bottle be leaking so we can't sell it, or whatever - as well as oil I've collected from sales and stuff. I have several 5 gallon buckets full of this stuff and I'm going to start using it in my Escape. But, how the heck do I get it in there without making a mess, and how do I measure it. I'm thinking I would have to place the bucket on a box or chair and then a 5 quart jug on the floor and use a siphon? And as per my other threads or mentions on the topic of this oil mixture, yes it's going to be run 10k miles+ and yes I'll do used oil analysis every time. Basically I'm spending the money on the UOA instead of on the oil in the name of science and being interesting

Clean out a old gallon oil jug, or quart bottle, use a hand transfer pump to fill the jug. I think trying to siphon a 5 gallon jug perched on a chair would end up being very messy.
 
If the bucket has a cover with a pour spout I tip the bucket onto its side with pour spout on top. I then roll the bucket to control the pour. If it's too full, tip it onto a 2x4 so it's inclined and not leaning completely on its side.

If you don't have a cover, I like your idea of siphoning. It's simple with minimal cleanup.

Either way, you'll need a transfer container like an empty gallon container.

Cleaning up around the apartment and found lots more oil to add to the buckets. It truly will be a random blend!

I'm awful jealous of you. You have Chevron Supreme
 
I use a Mityvac fluid evacuator pump that's what they are made for. For pumping diesel fuel into my tractor though I use a Rule submersible eletric pump I got from Electronic Goldmine, and a 12V car battery. It works great.

Big funnel and empty five quart jug.
Five gallons of oil isn't all that heavy at less than 35 lbs.
It's not like you have a drum full of oil, although maybe you could?
 
35lb it might be, but I wouldn't attempt it either. For a while I'd move diesel in 5 gallon plastic cans, and it got old real fast, holding it while it drained out. These days I don't fill my 5 gallon can more than half full.
