How to change what program pictures open with?

This is probably so easy that it is about to slap me in the face. I just reformatted my desktop computer due to a boo boo earlier in the week trying to install another A/V without the first one being totally removed. Anyways, I have a free picture editing program "The Gimp" installed. Whenever I try to open a picture now, it opens with this program. I would like my pictures to open with Windows picture and fax viewer. How do I change this setting? Thanks in advance.

Right click the picture you want to open, choose "open with", if you see "Windows Picture & Fax" choose it, otherwise click "browse" and then choose it. Check the box that says "always open with this program", then "OK".

Thanks, I knew it was something painfully simple. I was up all night and half the morning doing a reformat on this thing and wasnt thinking clearly. I have to go to work in the morning and am trying to get everything straight on here for the wife before I go.

On a Mac, right-click the image file (or go to "File"), go to "Get Info" and then choose the application of your choice.
