Think how many times the same could be said for them Ruskies when they learned of our latest advancement or weapons system.
What always impressed me about that jet was the diameter of the exhaust nozzles. They're HUGE!
I love how it terrified us into making the F-15. 
It worked good in the middle east but then WW II planes would have gotten the job done as a much lower cost to the Taxpayers.I love how it terrified us into making the F-15.

The Mig 25 was actual aeronautical proof, that anything could fly if you put big enough engines in it.
Certainly the case with the F-104.

I think the Mig 25 could be a beauty of an airplane. If it had anything other than a dirty metal finish, it'd be flat gorgeous. It looks fast just sitting on the tarmac. Love the YouTube videos of it on the runway from behind when the afterburners light up.
