How the PCV valve works.

This little culprit was causing my L3800 engine to use a half quart of oil every 1200 miles, but with a new pcv valve, it has stopped doing that...................

Often overlooked, many times the internal spring on them will break after 60k miles. At least that's how it was with the 7th gen Accord. I usually get an oem version. I replaced one on the Accord along with topping off with some MaxLife and issue solved.
