How OLD are you.

Oh, I used punch cards and punch tapes in computer programming back in the day...
That’s how we registered for college classes.

I had a summer job as a key punch operator where microfilm was placed on the cards. The internet was only 4 years old at the time so nobody knew what it was let alone did anyone have access. It would be another six years before it was released to the public.

Although I'm old, one of my OLDER co-workers shared memories as a kid of walking beside the horse that pulled the milk wagon down the street in the morning for deliveries. AND, she remembers her mom sending her and her brother to the ice house with her wagon to get a block of ice for the ice box (fridge). Me, I had an Atari 400 computer, and then saving up to upgrade to a Commadore 64.

I was 10 years old when this show came about, never missed an episode.

Many of us probably remember these signs outside stores we shopped at.

When it was just wife and I (mere children still). A child on the way, dirt poor (yet still happy) , she used to collect those S&H Green Stamps and there was another kind (can't remember) she also got lots of things with. They were a real help at the time. WoW, that feels like a complete different life.

I remember the S&H Green Stamps too. And weren’t the other stamps yellow colored that were very similar to S&H.

I am so old that back in the day, my McDonald's did not have a Drive Thru, the area where the Drive Thru is now had benches so we could sit down and eat and look at the Cows in the field across the street.

I am so old that I once drove a car where you had to hit a knob with your left foot to activate the High Beams.
And the emergency brake was a pedal on the left clicked as you pushed it down, stayed down until released by pulling out handle just above it on dash.

The hot music came from wabc am NYC, where one would hear commercials for Raceway Park

Yes. My full size Bronco had a very similar set up. In fact I was stopped in traffic and I heard and explosion under the hood and my brake pedal went to the floor. Bronco started in to almost hit the car in front of me and had I not thought fast and slammed on the E brake I would have rear ended them. Turned out my brake booster diaphragm blew? Only one I ever have that happen to. I went to Ford and replaced it with one the ordered for me. Never any other brake issues. That was a big surprise the way it happened out of the blue like that. So - I am so old , I grew up being able to work on vehicles unlike how manufacturer are trying to prevent us from being able to these days.
