How much is this Chevrolet Caprice wagon worth?

could be a cool get-about if you are ok living with weekly maintenance as you work it out / keep it running. I've used worse as a DD and been happy. Doesn't really sound like there is any major impending failures. Trans could be anything, could be minor fix. minor valve tick, who cares...

tint it out, low pros, redo suspension, deep gray paint with black/chrome trim (sparingly on chrome), could be a fun scoot....

OR, if you don't want a project, it could be exhausted in a year.

I offered the guy $400 and he turned it down, saying his 14 year old could practice on it.

- Motor just started dripping a small amount of oil about 6 months ago. Not sure why, haven't checked fully. Maybe oil cooling line.

Rear main seal.

- One of the lifters taps. Goes away, or makes less noise, after driving awhile.

Stuck lifter. Try a pan of diesel oil.

- Transmissions slips single time slightly when starting from a cold start, runs/shifts fine after letting off on gas and allowing shift. Has been doing this for over 1 year, drove it to Michigan last year just fine. Haven't investigated issue - very minor and hasn't bothered me to the point of service.

TC draining when parked. Annoying, but no biggie.

- Horn stopped working.
- Driver side arm rest or door handle missing.

Minor.

- Rear windows and passenger side windows do not roll up/down.

Bad wiring, most likely...probably at the driver's master switch.

- Windshield washer jets have issues.

Vague.

- Cruse control stopped working.

Bad connection, vacuum leak, bad motor.

- Back left window, or maybe roof rack, leaks slightly when
heavy rain or snow melting.

Probably the pop-out quarter glass. (Seeped on both my 95's.)

- Back door lock hard to use, we stopped using it and just unlocked at front of car. Probably needs to be lubricated internally.

He's probably right.

- One of the hydraulic arms for the hood pops off easily, pops back on just fine.

Loose clip...?

- Was told by mechanic that the back axle seal is leaking inside, he used some stop leak to control. He noticed some lubricate on right rear break side.

- The hot/cold indicator on dash likes to move up and down between warm and hot while driving. Has been doing this for almost 2 years ... we have driven it many miles since we know the car hasn't been overheating. We have noticed though that running the air conditioning in hot weather will cause the car to start running hot based on indicator. Honestly, not sure what is wrong here. We just drove and made sure it wasn't overheating. Again - we have made countless trips to PA and two to Michigan with car over last 2 years.

Sounds like a bubble in the cooling system and/or a failing sending unit.

- The radiator started leaking awhile ago, I used stop leak and it has been okay since.

Needs a radiator.

Yes...it needs work, but everything but the radiator ($136 at AZ) is pretty minor.
