How Much Do You Tip Your Barber ?

I actually go to a female hairdresser for my haircut. She charges $15 for a men’s cut and I always give a $20. She washes your hair before cutting.

For transparency I should add that we are neighbors and her husband rents pasture ground from us. We’re in a small town of 1400 people or so.

That's a great price, especially for a barber for 20 years, and all the extra he gives you.... Maybe up his tip to $10, even with a $10 tip, seems like a great value.

It's not like he is working for waitress type wages, I've seen his house, he's doing just fine on my $2 tip.
