How Many People Here Prefer "Dark Mode" ?

Dark mode on everything for years. Just got a new s25 phone and gaming laptop, its the first setting I make on devices when I get them. So much easier on the eyes. All those year staring at CRT screens in the 80s and 90s probably didn't help my already terrible eyesight.

Every modern computer OS as well as smartphone OS has a "dark mode" option. iOS includes a toggle by defaults in Control Center. I'm sure Android makes it just as accessible too. Windows, macOS, etc have toggles as well.
Never seen it. But I don't go digging around much and dislike changing out of the box settings. Makes migration harder the next time around (all the settings that have to be brought over).

The software tool I use most of all had it turned on for one version--and it was very quickly turned off. Just did not like the sudden change.

Night/dark mode all the things. Even in brave I run it, though it breaks some websites.... Makes late night wikipedia binges way more enjoyable.

If you log in with a Microsoft account you can sync your settings and restore them on your next installation after you sign into it.

Ah. Will try to remember—I only just realized that I can get into OneDrive via the web. I have a dislike of computers. :)

Some things only as they are less irritating or easier to read in dark mode, on computer. Most things are in dark mode on phone for same as above reasons plus to save battery charge.
About 50/50 on tablet I'm using right now. One thing I noticed is eye focusing is different for same web page, image or document depending whether it's in dark or light mode and time of day (or surrounding lighting) and how tired eyes are.

I use the native dark mode on iOS, macOS, and Windows but I've found that most websites (forums) don't do it well (strange color choices, etc).
I'm no longer on a lot of forums, mostly just twitter (X) and here, and both of them seem to do dark mode well.

Yep... Some websites don't play nice with Brave's built in night mode. Though it does clearly say it's experimental.

Dark Mode and my eyes don't get along at all. The white lettering is just over the top on my eyes.

I tried Dark Mode a few times, and then I found a study that claimed Dark Mode is actually harder on the eye. That explained what I had experienced, and I have never tried it since.
