maybe they should just call it a synthetic blend and remove the S.U.V.,Mini-Van, and TRUCK from label . Consumers probably think it's only for that application which is not the case . Says can be used for domestic and import cars as well on back label and at the DATA SHEET of PENNZOIL website .
I personally discourage all blends, not just this one. My reasoning is, if you want conventional use it, if you want synthetic use that, but if you want a blend, mix it yourself. You get more synthetic that way. At the maxium you will get no more that 30% synthetic in any of them, and more than likely it's somewhere between 10 and 20% synthetic. If I mix my own, I can make the concentration as much as I want to. I just think synthetic blends are a marketing ploy to get your money. That's all.
Apparently the QS Truck&SUV blend fell on it's face. BigLots had tons of it on closeout and it didn't even do well at BL at a closeout price. Probably a decent oil with poor marketing.
