How Long To Store Gas Without Stabil ?

I wouldn't store fuel without a fuel stabilizer

I have cars that sometimes sit for a month and will always have stabilizer added at each fill up

Rotating gas cans is a good thing. Its a hassle to do it every couple weeks. Use the stabilizer and be good for months without worry. And, use ethanol free fuel if available. If pure gas isn't available, I wouldn't bother storing E10.

I have a 5 gallon can of top tier gas that I bought for emergencies. I plan on pouring it into my gas tank periodically and then refilling the can with fresh gas. How long can I keep that 5 gallons without needing to add Stabil ?

I always keep 5 gallons on hand for the generator and any other oh ****zky moments. I add Stabil when I buy the gas because an ounce of prevention beats a pound of cure... I have stored this fuel for up to 12 months and used it with no issues.
