I'm not sure if this has been posted, but I thought some of you might find it interesting. It's Discovery Channel's "How It's Made" program showcasing how oil filters are made. More specifically, how FRAM oil filters are made.

Interesting. Somewhat surprising that the ADBV is installed by hand, even though the rest of the process is automated.

Also, insert something about cardboard endcaps here.

Interesting. I notice they never mention what material the endcaps are made of, but eh. Still an informative video either way. But would it really cost honeywell that much to add an extra process to use aluminum endcaps instead of cardboard? I can't imagine it would be that expensive.
