How good is ST Synthetic

I've had Super Tech synthetic in my car since June 2014. No complaints. The version I'm using is made by Citgo. Gas mileage increased from 18.6 MPG to 19.0 MPG. Engine feels smoother at high RPMs.

No complaints?

No complaints. I don't mind adding a quart as long the consumption tapers off by the next OCI.

1 quart per 1000 miles is totally acceptable.

Its okay but for pennies more you could get Quaker State Ultimate Durability Full Synthetic and its been a oil I use as a top off to my pennzoil ultra 5w30 when I only need a bit. I throw the rest of the qt in my rx350 lexus with qs defy and it runs fantastic.

Just changed the oil in the wife's Frontier Sunday. Used Super Tech 5W30 synthetic. I think it's a great deal for $17 plus change. I do 5K OCI's and have all the confidence in the world in this oil. In the eighties and nineties when money was really tight, all my oil changes consisted of Super Tech conventional oil, and Super Tech oil filters. Never an issue with any vehicle that used this combo. Are there better rated oils our there, sure. But for my needs, Super Tech syn and a Fram TG (after my last Purolator is used up) is all I'm going to use going forward in the Frontier. I can't currently use this combo for the Sierra until Super Tech syn gets Dexos approved. If it ever does, this will also be my preferred oil change protocol for the Sierra.
