Used on what?? An OEM filter should be able to do its job for a service interval as specified in the owner's manual of that vehicle.

should be fine in Pentastar for 7500 miles, I also like the Fram tough guard and the Purolator 1. Have also ran them 7500 miles with great results

Think of what loads up a filter. It's not engine wear particles or dirt from the atmosphere but degradation byproducts of the oil. So what actually determines how long an oil filter can be used depends on how far you with the oil, and how hard you work it.

If oil is of excellent quality and changed in time, filters last a very long time. If the oil is marginal (or marginal oil/over extended interval has been used in the past) the filter can be overloaded in a few miles. I've ran filter cartidges for 30k+ miles that looked like they were installed a few days before, but I don't let my oil degrade.

I pretty much use the 349 exclusively on our T&C. They come out the straightest and look the best IMO. I've tried a few others and returned to the 349.

I run the oil & filter until the EVIC says to change. That's usually 9k miles +/- 1k.

As some of you know I’ve added a Jeep Wrangler to my fleet with the Pentastar 3.6L V6. Here is a look at a Carquest Premium. 10,000 mile/99.5%@20 micron rating. Quality looks great which is typical for PGI made filters. Enjoy!
