The only way to get rid of it is to install some kind of pre-lube system that pressurizes the oil system without requiring the engine to turn.
Every time the topic of disabling ignition and cranking to "pre-lube" the engine, these are my exact thoughts. What does it matter whether the injectors are firing and rotating the valvetrain or whether your starter motor is rotating the valvetrain.
I suspect the only reason you don't hear lifter tick when you're cranking the engine is because all you hear is a starter motor.
