The kinds of cars I drive, they have to be bucket seats. But I want to get a land yacht at some point with nice and soft seats for comfortable long distance driving.
I'm not brand loyal. I really do purchase largely on seat comfort. As mentioned above, the Chrysler seats (let's call them "luxury buckets") are among the very best.
I will add that I do find the Jeep seats extremely comfortable as well. They hold you, while still being fantastic for long trips, it's an extremely good balance.
I considered a lot of options when I decided to upgrade to leather covers. Colors (blue panels, stitching)....textures (suede inserts)...perforation (inserts, centers, etc.) I went pretty traditional, but I'm very happy with my choice. Perfect amount of bolstering without making me feel claustrophobic. I'm held in place, but I can still turn around and grab something out of the back seat.
I think what makes me most happy is that the dog hair doesn't stick anymore.
