How do I remove the wires from this connector?

Cleanly... Want to protect the wires to reuse everything... Just need to swap wire position.

These are male plugs with two little "arms" coming off the plug to hold it in place.

Do I use a screwdriver to force the pins down then bend them back?

I'm thinking dremel tool, If i understand, you want the wires and pins completely free from the plastic connector. If you want to reuse the plastic connector, then i have no idea.

I'd love to reuse all of it... Hot and neutral were wired backwards... It worked but I'd like to make it right.

There is a special little tool for that. It slips over the pin and compresses the little barbs so that you can pull it out from the back of the connector. I got the tool for $5-6 at my local Microcenter store. It looks like this:

Molex style connector. They make a de-pinning tool for it.

They should have some barbs that you have to depress so the terminals will clear the stops in the plug housing so you can pull the terminal out. Once you have the terminals out, push the barbsout so they will engage again.

Are miles puns always the same size??? Is there a different removal tool for each size???

Any older electronics tech will have those tools. I used them often in the 70's and 80's on deflection yoke and convergence yoke plugs.

I have one for each size of Molex pin. I got them at at Radio Shack, IIRC.

You can use a screwdriver to bend the tangs down and then bend them back up. I've done that with Molex power connectors before.

Use a piece of rigid tubing that fits snugly over the pin then gently pull on the wire.
