How did you find/pick your mechanic?

A friend recommended my mechanic I liked the guy he seemed honest knows his stuff. We became great friends since we meet at least once a month for dinner or a Sunday breakfast at the diner. He's a big ford guy has a 69 mustang crazy fast and a all original big block 68 Torino

Saw NAPA ad in Motor Age Magazine. He was mechanic of the year. I had a problem others could not solve. He fixed it.
