I can buy this oil for $20 for a case of 12qts after tax and shipping! How can they sell it that cheap? How can it be any good for that price? I bought a few cases of it but now I am doubting myself.

Without excessive advertising oil really should cost this much.
The cost doesn't make it junk oil.

Pay $15 to have a sample analyzed, and then you'll have a better idea of what you're dealing with.

You got 191 ounces in bottles and the last one you'll have to wring out the cardboard case to get.

I just cant get past the cost. I'm all for a good value but I don't want to ruin an engine by being too cheap.

Chevron Supreme is top notch oil and most weights are ss and at Wal-Mart its not much more
than what your paying for this. You won't have trouble sleeping using Chevron!

It maybe Chevron. The mentioned blender is based in California and is a Chevron distributor.

They have a legit API certification and the company itself is properly/legally registered in California with a good business rating. https://engineoil.api.org/Directory/EolcsResults and https://quicktunilubes.com/ This place is an independent blender similar to Miles Lubricants which I've been using for 5 years.

Your CMJ oil is SN rated and GF4-5 which means synthetic blend. For typical passenger cars with short or normal OCIs, I'd use it in a heartbeat.

EDIT: BTW, their website shows product specifications and the synthetic version looks pretty nice. It has strong levels of Z and P at the upper end allowed for SN. The VI is a little low but I wouldn't let that break my heart. Sadly, that stuff does not seem to be available here on the Eastern coast.

Its an API SN motor oil with an additive package produced by a small handful of companies that make the packages for almost all oil brands.

Since it is API SN it is no better or worse then any other API oil at any cost.

Ill agree its cheap and can understand the hesitation but it gives everyone a true idea of what it costs to market oil, this oil cost no more or less then any other oil to produce and bottle, but the rest is profits for the name brands.
