Seen these on eBay, thought I might try a pair in my Protege. Less than 20 bucks, can't go wrong I suppose.

Sure you can, save your money unless you are looking for less illumination with blue tinted bulbs.

What are you trying to achieve?

Rich

Don't waste your money on blue bulbs if real lighting and vision improvement is your objective.

Also, tour the Hella Light Tunnel

, and after comparing all of the various beam patterns convince yourself 100% that this particular seller hasn't "borrowed" an image or two.

Interesting, eh? If that's true, then we've added the matter of the seller's honesty in representing what he's selling.

Caveat emptor.

No ethically pure bulb company would offer color coated bulbs. They offer no benefit (except increased sales), only decreased light output.

GE now has a blue tinted Nighthawk bulb...

I have tried many of these different blue bulbs and have always came back dissapointed. Light output generally stinks.
