Do you think mixing D4 and MTL is okay to do? If so what ratio?
As usual, MY car is sitting on jackstands getting a suspension change. I keep screwing with stuff. I need to stop and drive dammit.
I'm using the fuel mix in the wife's 02 Explorer. I have not done an objective mileage test, but just watching the gauge and mileage during long highway trips seems to show an improvement, but I know that's a lot of hooey just eyeballing it. I will say that acceleration seems better and the engine is running smoother than with just the FP. I don't run it in every tank, maybe every other. I made up 2 gallons, one for her and one for me, with some Neutra left over. I won't run straight Neutra or FP again.
I kind of like the fact that I can use the Neutra in the crankcase as well. I ran out of LC the other day and wanted to flush out a used lawn tractor. I'll just use the leftover Neutra.
For the engine, I am running Mobil 1 10w30 with the LC/132. I bought 2 jugs of the M1 when it was on sale at Walmart, so I'll run that until it's gone, then try something else, probably Schaeffers, which one I don't know.
