Has anyone used this stuff?

I wonder how it compares to the Power Service Diesel Injector and DEF Flush.

It looks like the 2 additives are applied differently. The Hot Shots is ran directly to the injectors for initial application then added to the tank at as preventative maintenance. The Power Service is just added to the tank with no changes to dosage.

The Hot Shots looks to mainly be an injector and fuel system cleaner but also has a cetane improver and lubricity additives. The Power Service does not mention cetane or lubricity benefits but along with cleaning the injectors and fuel system it also reduces soot in the turbo.

I forgot to mention the Power Service is added to the fuel once a month which seems odd. Miles on a particular vehicle in a month can vary drastically from another vehicle.

I have a bottle of the Power Service I just bought. This was before seeing the Hot Shots. I was planning on using the Power Service in a week or 2 for a tank before my next oil change.

Now that I see the Hot Shots stuff, I'm considering getting that and using it as I am planning to change my fuel filter and water separator anyway and filling the fuel filter is how you add it. I'm thinking the Hot Shots may be the more aggressive cleaner? Then I could start using the Power Service as the preventative and turbo cleaner.

I Have a 96 F350 7.3 with an Air Dog fuel system. My concern with using the Hot Shots with filling the fuel filter is the potential of some of the additive getting cycled right back to the tank with the initial degassing the Air Dog system will do on start-up after changing the filter and separator. How much additive could get cycled back who knows. Maybe none at all. Depends on how well the degassing works. If a bunch of the additive gets cycled to the tank right away while working the bubbles out, I lose that high concentration of the additive directly to the injectors that is probably doing the bulk of the cleaning. I could fill the filter and the separator to help keep the concentration up. Maybe this isn't an issue?

I use Opti-Lube and think it's one of the better diesel fuel treatments. I am not thrilled about how it's packaged. I have poured it into an old Archoil (also a good product) container where one can squeeze some into the measuring section.

I use the product and find great results, but also agree that this is a very strange treatment recommendation. I called Power Service and they were very wobbly on their justification for that. That being said, I find that adding it every tank in my 3.0 Duramax has resulted in pretty impressive results.

In what ways?

It's instructions are the same as the old Liqui Moly Diesel Purge I used on my mechanical indirect injector Mercedes engines. It was really good for the mechanical injectors and prechambers. Stopped the nailing that would develop from dirt buildup.
At filter change you fill the new filter with the Diesel Purge, then run the fuel intake and return lines into the can. Run until the can is empty. Put the lines back where they belong and use the mechanical prime pump if it had one.
This may be good. I may try it for prefilling the filter with my next filter change.

Regen frequency has been greatly reduced. Before using it I was seeing active Regen every 130-180 miles or so depending on in town vs highway. Now I am probably every 250-400+. When the truck was new I was seeing regen frequency like it is now. I am at 50k miles and maybe 20k miles ago I started noticing it regen more frequently.

In addition to significantly extended distance between active regens the truck looks like it is now passive regening. I will watch the DPF percentage decrease 2-5% from time to time outside of the active Regen. It was not doing this at all since I started monitoring when the truck had~20k miles. I have 50k now and I would assume that it did passive regen when new but can't be certain.
