Horn stopped working.

On the Taurus. All I hear is clicking.

How big a deal is that to get fixed?

most horns are mounted with a tab & single small (10-13mm) head bolt. + one wire connection.
tiny deal.

It sounds like the relay is working. Probably a bad ground. Check for corrosion on the horn terminal and at the ground connection. If you are lucky the horn is mounted in an easily acessible location.

I was really hoping it just froze like on my old Volkswagen Fox but I'll have to check it out in the daylight.

Ford OEM horns are pretty cheap. Dealership might still have those in stock.

Probably a bad ground. Also seen clock springs go bad and make it stop too.

Last time I saw that was on a Delta 88..

The clock would make the battery go dead..

Fuse? On foxbodies the horn, cig lighter, & cruise control are on the same circuit. Cruising on the freeway + charging your phone + someone cuts you off = no more cruise, horn & phone charging, lol
