Well, she finally ran out of juice. Thanks for the memories old girl... Its been a long road, one dirty bore at a time.

32 ounces of Hoppes #9 lasts a long time.

Gotta get some more bore solvent. My last cleaning was a Model 37 Airweight snub and there were just a couple of drops left in the bottle. I ended up spraying some carb cleaner on the patch to finish the job.

I read somewhere that they changed the formula a few years ago and removed some of the good stuff. I moved on to Shooter’s Choice a long time ago but I have a big bottle of Hoppe’s I was going to use for a piston soak if Berryman’s didn’t work.

For some reason, my wife hates it.
My wife has asthma and doesn't 'suffer' daily, but certain odors are bothersome for her. Hoppes definitely is one that gets her and I certainly understand why. I don't use it much anymore and tend to use a spray version of cleaner/lube (I think it's Lucas).

It last a long time as long as you don't leave the lid off and knock the bottle over. Yeah it happens.

I finished one of those of myself recently. The new production, in the plastic bottle, is not the same.....
