Would this oil be ok to run in my ‘97 Timberwolf 250 with a wet clutch? It meets JASO T903 spec and I figured it would be better due to it meeting API SJ. Or are oils meeting JASO-MA2 better? Also can this oil be used in new products with wet clutches?

You want an oil with JASO-MA or MA2.

The HP4M oil has Moly in it, which is generally regarded as bad for a wet clutch over time.

If you want Honda oil, you should use the GN4 or the HP4S. Otherwise, any other motorcycle/ATV type oil with a JASO-MA or MA2 rating will work fine.

Yes, there are many examples of people using car and diesel oils in motorcycles and ATVs (I'm sure people will chime in below). You can make your own decision on that.
