Honda Ridgeline requires 80w-90 diff?

My 2006 Ridgeline is spec for 80w-90 diff fluid. Can 75w-90 syn be used instead of the required 80w-90. The reason i am asking is that i can not find syn of 80w-90 only semi-syn.

Use a 75W-90 old spec, with confidence. If you happen to choose Amsoil, then use 75W-110 (new specification)

I think all of the syns are usually 75W-90 while dino is 80W-90. Pablo's note on Amsoil is a good piece of information.

I use the Amsoil 80w90 synthetic in my T4R with no problems.

I use the Amsoil 80W90 GL5 and my car`s rear diff is silent.
