There is a used oil analysis of it in the used oil analysis section. Compare it to ATF uoa/voa's.
If their PS pumps are engineered anything like their transmissions, then it needs that double dose of AW additves, when compared to ATF, to survive without [censored] off the owner with an unplanned failure. And yes, certain Hondacuras are also experiencing PS pump failures/noises......
I would stick with a fluid that mentions Honda in the spec or on the bottle. I've seen Gunk, Pyroil, Mighty, Bardahl..... and various other brands that had Honda specific power steering fluid and various autopart stores on my x-country road trips. You don't need to go to the dealer for the fluid.
The real question is whether the Honda Power Steering Fluid would be an upgrade for generic power steering fluid for non-Honda owners. This thick fluid might quiet down noisy pumps and reduce leaking.
BTW, I haven't seen the overly hyped seal incompatibility issues that so many doomsayers preach.
If anyone is willing to sacrifice their rack or pump for a study, I would skip the ATF for the Honda and try any of the 30wt full synthetic oils.
