I've used a bazillion Honda Frams over the users. The seal is better than the Fram, but the rest is pretty similar.
I am not using them any more, the Premium Guard filters are top notch for a fair price.
I'm not saying they are bad, just using something else now.

Flame suit on.

I was tempted to leave it on since Honda says replace every other oil change, but my gut told me to change it.
Good choice. Look into Carquest Premium filters. It's all I've been using on my Hondas for the past year. The truck gets ChampXL until that stash runs out and then probably CQP as well.

I'm still using the Honda A02. Not because I think it's a superior filter but because everything else is such a crapshoot these days and I have a genuine Honda filter wrench that fits them so well. On my 5th Honda now.
Look for the Honda Part # 15400-RTA-003

Same filter but made in Japan. Great QC. You may need to ask for it specifically, as some places will sub them out with A02.

Also, beware of fakes if ordering from the usual online marketplaces.

I feel like most every Honda engine uses the 7317 equivalent filter intentionally.
There's no "feelings" about this, it's 100% accurate (except for the S2000 at some point). 20+ years ago, they were standardized on (using Fram #) 3593 and moved to the 7317 equivalent. Dealers probably order/receive oil filters by the pallet because of this standardization.

I find this interesting for a couple reasons.

First, on another discussion here about oil filters, @Japanese just recently suggested that selecting OEM filters would make it possible to avoid the poor quality that has recently occurred with so many filter brands. Clearly that isn't the case. The OEM filters are manufactured by the same companies that have been plagued with quality concern problems.

Second, I just ordered a OEM Honda A02 filter, so I can service my daughter's CR-V. But today when picking up motor oil in a Walmart for this upcoming service, I saw that the M1-110A is the same price as the Honda A02 that I ordered. Having seen this morning, what @Sj08 shared above, I picked up an M1-110A. I haven't decided if I will keep the A02 for a future oil change, or return it.

^^^ The Mobil 1, even being 99% @ 30u is probably still more efficient than the Honda OEM filter.
Unsure if the actual specs are the same but it's basically a Fram Extra Guard, which I think they label filtration like 95% @ whatever, so yes, it is way more efficient.
