Honda Marine Grease

Get some grease from your Honda dealer if it really matters to you. What parts are you greasing anyways?

Well, grease compatibility matters but that doesn’t mean I want (or need) to be locked into one maker and one source.

I worked 12 years at a marine dealership as a light tech. We carried Yamaha, Honda, and Amsoil grease. I always used the Amsoil water resistant grease. Partial to Amsoil, plus the blue color helped while greasing zerk/mechanical steering rams etc.

I assumed that the Honda was lithium.

I just found this:

This multi-purpose lithium grease containing anti-oxidants and anti-corrosion additives is formulated to withstand the harsh environment of saltwater, protecting against corrosion and wear. With advanced lubrication properties, it ensures smooth engine performance for worry-free boating.
