Honda GN4 in car

Hey guys, I got a stockpile of Honda GN4 10W-40 SJ motorcycle oil from a friend. Is this safe to rub in my 88 4Runner which calls for SF grade oil? Anything weird about it being motorcycle oil?

Just has more add pack, would be fine in you 4runner, i have 4 cases of it, mine is 20W50 .. i use it in my harleys.

No problems at all, maybe a bit heavy, but in your climate, it shouldn't be an issue. Enjoy!

I'd cut it 50/50 with some 0W-20 like the OEM oil for Toyota, Mazda or Subaru in that order of preference.

Admit it, CATERHAM. All your cars are running 20w-50 conventional year round.

What I will admit is that I have used a lot of 20w50 conventional in my youth. But even though I favoured thicker oils when I was young I never used 20W-50 in the winter.
