I have a leaf blower with a Honda GC160 engine. It would not start, so I took the carburetor apart, cleaned it with carb cleaner, and blew it out with compressed air. Now it starts, but only runs on high speed. If I turn down the throttle, it just about stalls, surges up slightly and repeates. The throttle is controlled by the engine speed does not appear to be adjustable. It did work normally the last time it was running and everything was put back together correctly. I did not replace any gaskets. I can hold the lever by hand it and does run nice and smooth.
Any ideas? It is driving me nuts trying to figure it out.
