Honda used to recommend Mobil 1 104 but now use 110 across all of their lineup, regardless of engine size. It is a great move for Honda as 110 is a good size to fit into tight space. But 104 offer better displacement/capacity than 110. I actual just ran out of my stash and see that Mobil 1 changed their thread pattern for their 205, which was a perfect upsize for Honda. According to the chart here, 207 is the way to go but the gasket has larger diameter than 110. I wonder if the gasket difference would mean it won't fit for Honda or the gasket is meant to secure the filter to the vehicle and the slightly different gasket size I
Won't be an issue.
207 and 110 have the same thread size but 207 is much bigger. Anyone has experience running 207 in Honda, specifically smaller Honda's such as Fit?
