No engine damage? I severely doubt there is no damage .

^I tend to agree, I'd get a used oil analysis immediately. I'd imagine the bearing wear would be high(lead, tin, ?)?

If it's some insane noise(ppm being really high in those areas), I'd consider dropping the oil pan and inspecting the bottom end.
