Forgive my ignorance on this. I have a 2007 Civic LX (non-hybrid). Honda says to use Z1 ATF in their automatic transmissions, with the exception of the CVT transmission. How am I to know whether or not I have a CVT transmission? Is the CVT used on the hybrid models? I plan on converting to Amsoil ATF, but want to make sure I order the correct fluid for my transmission.

It should state in your user manual what your vehicle has. I believe it has a regular automatic. It comes with a standard man transmission but with the option of the auto.

CVT only comes with the Hybrid

CVT also came with the Civic HX, but Honda stopped making the HX model.
