Home test for fuel dillution?

on a side note, thanks to BITOG i immediately thought of "fuel dilution causing gas in the oil" the other night when my freinds roomate decided to pour used oil on a sparsely lit fire to get it going, flame shot back into the jug and puffed it out with a nice WHOOSH and then did nothing, i assumed that was the fuel vapors from the oil igniting.

Or draw a sample and sniff it. If you smell fuel...

This is the only oil test I do. I may do it a couple of times through the 10-12K OCI. Oil always great with this test.

I've been using white business cards, but I understand other materials may be better.

INdex cards was the norm, afaik. Easy to retain for reference.

Had a business card handy. Jotted th m/da at the top left. Pulled the ds and put the drop below the date. Cool! Looks just like the "Good" example. I'm at 5 months on this oci. I'll try it again in a month. Thanks,again.
