Home safe's .....anybody own one?

The most important thing about a gun safe is to keep kids and snooping adults from having access to guns, ammo and other important things.

Also fire protection. We have a modest safe, not so much concerned about robbery (but nice reason also) but to keep accidents with guns from happening AND protecting important paperwork.

I also had a home safe I was worried about securing properly. My safe was heavy, but I still felt better bolting it down, especially with valuable stuff like guns and ammo inside. It just gives that extra peace of mind, even if it’s already in a hard-to-reach spot like your back bedroom. I didn’t want to risk any potential break-ins, even if the chances are slim. For me, drilling into the floor wasn’t too big of a deal since I knew it would be worth it for the security.
