One thing to consider in manufacturing is that there really aren't that many companies capable of producing whatever product you may be looking at call it X product. Most oil filters are made by purolator, fram, champion, Wix, etc. and just relabeled and painted a new color for sale.
This filter looks identical to an Accel Kool Blue and it wouldn't shock me to find out that it indeed is. I'm willing to bet most cotton gauze filters are made by the same manufacturer. I'd like to find out who that is.
In my experience with 3 different foam air filters, the flow and filtering capability of them was all very close. I would be surprised to find that one cotton gauze / oil filter is vastly superior or inferior to another. I'd be shocked actually.
