I stumbled across this person from Japan who made his own testing rig and posts videos on Instagram. He tests with some sort of soot looking medium and also does a basic pressure drop test.

Ill post a few here for your entertainment. Its interesting stuff.

HAMP stock type panel filter

K&N cone filter

Blitz SUS (stainless gauze) cone filter

AEM DryFlow cone filter

Interesting testing, thanks for sharing. I hate that useful information like this is shared via social media reels...

Not sure how accurate his testing is, but here are his results with test dust up to 10 um:

HAMP (Honda OE?): 99.9%
AEM Dry Flow: 99.5%
Pipercross (oiled): 96.9%
HKS Green (dry): 96.9%
HKS Red (wet): 95.7%
K&N (cleaned, re-oiled): 96.5%
K&N (new): 94.9%

Without seeing his detailed test procedure, it looks like he's coming up with an efficiency number based on the weight of the debris that got past the filter vs the amount of debris he introduced into the test box where the filter is mounted. There is still some dust clinging to the inside of the plexiglass box, so not an exact way to determine efficiency unless he also weighed the filter before and after is was used. Clearly shows that some of the high flow filters are not very good at filtering small debris.
