Bought a new primer bulb(Briggs and Stratton) at Lowe's yesterday.It has a small hole in it that is supposed to be there.What is the point of this design?
This is a air primer system. When you press the primer it pushes air into the bowl which then forces gas in to the carb. This bulb will only work on air primer carbs.
yes, it lets air in to refill the primar bulb. when you puch on the primer you block the hole which then pushese the air into the carb bowl to force fuel up the jet
