They say that the high mileage oils have seal conditioners in them to swell seal to stop leaks, right? I assume this oil is to be used before any real leakage problems occur. My rear main seal is weeping and is moist, but no drips. Would it be a bad idea to use a High Mileage oil with this?

I would try two OCIs for that weeping seal.... one is sometimes not enough. In my opinion, Castrol High Mileage is the best one/has the best add-pack among the dinos.

I have mentioned on here before that Pennzoil High Mileage "cured" a weepy rear main in one of my old Volvo 240s. Yes, it took about a year and two OCIs. Not overnight!
