High mileage stories using 5W-20

The only Manufacturer I know of that specs a 5w30 over the 5w20 is Dodge in their Hemi engines, if you tow. They changed that from the first recommendation of 5w20 ONLY. I am not a big believer in the thin oils, it is only my opinion though, I dont think 10w30 is extreme in either direction though,sort of middle of the road weight and being in Florida, I cant see a problem with it. What I think is crazy on here is how many people think the difference is like milk to Honey, I grew up in cold temperatures and even below zero, seen little difference between, 5w20, 5w30 or 10w30.
 
There are other exceptions. The one that stands out in my mind is that Honda itself, one of the very first to go heavily to 20 wt specs the Civic Si's engine for 30 wt oil. Again, I don't see this as a judgment against 20 wt oils, rather, it simply reflects that that particular engine is deemed to do better on a 30 wt.
