How old is it? has it separated? NGL2?
The real old stuff from the 1980s had long strings in it.Mechanics at the time claimed it was asbestos but that couldn't have been true. Check the back for manufacturer.If it was Amalie Oil out of Tampa Florida,its not too old.If its Whitco from Bradford Pennsylvania its 15+ years old.
Give it a toss. New can of grease isn't going to break the bank. Regards

It is a 5 lb pail and almost full
I wont toss it-I will use it for something
It was my Dads so I will keep it in the garage just like him
