HF Predator 212 Piston Dimensions

Right so recently i have won at a auction loads of gasoline powered equipment i have a 7hp 4kw honda clone generator with a bad piston (it has a crack in the crown) so no compression anyway it is a honda gx200 clone with where everything is the same as the gx200 but the piston is 70mm in diamiter instead of 68mm so i reaserched and reaserched to find where i can get this piston and found out the hf predator 212 has a 70mm piston as well
does anyone know the dinmentions of the hf predator 212 psiton is?

Mine is 70mm in diamiter
49mm in hight
wristpin is 17.9mm
 
Don't know how to help you. You have discovered the problem with clone engines. They are often not the same as the original.

I have a Chinese diesel and parts are 100% impossible to source. They will gladly sell you something....For some engine. I wish you luck. My engine is still apart 7 years later.

Have you looked into racing parts or wiseco pistons? Possibly you could get something to fit.
 
So who made the generator? There's a huge thread on rv.net about champion generators and might have useful info.

4kw != 7 hp, but that's neither here nor there, now.

I'm curious about the old blue 6.5 hp chondas and their dimensions as well. They did something to up from 196cc to 208.
 
I presume you're not in a huge hurry? Some sort of tinkering project?

alibaba.com is a huge wholesale importer/exporter bazzaar. IIRC aliexpress is a direct to consumer version of same.
 
If you download the manual for the HF predator engine you can look up the piston part number. HF has a parts number you can call and order parts. You can also email them and get a quote, but have to call to make an order.

edit: oops just saw you were in the UK. HF will probably be no help
