Here we go again - some BMW electric car may catch fire

Someone having fun with their choice of words., "..The issue was first brought to light in with a US-based BMW i4 eDrive40 in April, which sparked BMW to look at Samsung SDI...." :ROFLMAO:

On the bright side it's limited to 83 cars.

Yea Dave-notice how the BMW count is 83 and the Ford count is 100,000 units.

No doubt - Ice cars catch fire far more often than BEV's per million miles driven.

I'm more interested in how many BEV made vs. BEV fires within a given model.

Then Im curious to see the cell type and look at the charge profiles.

Ditto above, Ford Maverick and a bunch of other fords get fire recall

I was watching for Mav info and instead found a stop sale and fire recall plus a harness repair campaign

Back in the mid 80s, I used to see a plethora of burned-to-the-ground Ford LTDs on the side of the road. The only burned cars that I've ever seen.
