My wife and I just left Ft. Myers a week ago today (Monday), stayed at my folk's winter home. One of my dad's neighbors called him and said his and most of the houses in their neighborhood were okay except for some trees blown down. They're newer houses though, and built to the post-Hugo upgraded building codes. Cape Coral and Punta Gorda are just north of there and got hit worse.
