Help!!!

After removing a battery post terminal for cleaning. My electric locks now won't work. I get the audible tone but no action. I tried pulling the neg. off for a few minutes, but same issue. What's up? It's a 2005 Chevy Colorado.

I would wire brush the terminals and clamps.

I am not sure, but if you are talking about the remote key fob control, it might be that you have to reprogram the vehicle for the remote.

Neither the key fob nor manual will work. Fuse is good.

Use key to open drivers door manually? That may reset it.

Ahh. above you mean manually opening drivers door right?

Tried that. Key works from outside.Just no arm console or fob control.

There's a goofy procedure for some GMs that you perform inside the car touching various weird things. Presume you read owners manual?

What do yo mean by audible tone? The horn or the doors trying to lock?

Do you have to reinitialize some parts after you do a battery on those? On some Mazda's you have to go in with a scan tool and reinitialize a switch on some models, some its a crank sensor.

Tried that. LOCK 1, and RFA 1 defaults. I'll just use the key, not going to the stealership.
