Have a verizon variant Samsung S20 FE 5G UW phone and it is a work phone. It is very important if I step away from it, that if I miss a call or txt, it will continue to beep and remind me. I set this up under "Notification Reminders" and have olny the verizon messenge+ and phone app active.

Here is the major bug. If I miss a text, and do not read it before the customer calls, it will blast the notification reminder thru the ear speaker and damage your ear. How do I keep the reminder but have it not blast while on a call.

Never had that happen on any Samsung phone I've had, from S10 to current S23+, all Verizon.
You might want to set the notification volume lower, but the position sensor should automatically reconize that the phone is up near your ear.
Other than that, maybe a factory reset is in order.

He may be enabling the accessibility notification reminder .. and its performing as intended by the app creator.
It may not have phone security access to know someone is on the phone.. or be designed for that.
