Help starting this car.

You are not objective about this...

1: Get some fuel hose & a gas can full of gasoline, size isn't important.
2. Disconnect fuel supply from car
3. Reconnect line from gasoline can
4. Place gas can so it is at least level or above carburetor
5. Attempt to start without touching pedal.
6. It may take so time to get a good prime.
7. If car runs, then carb is not the problem.
8. If car doesn't then the internals of the carb need to be looked at.

If the carb is not the problem do as mentioned above and check the mechanical fuel pump for output. It would also be a good time to check condition of fuel filter and fuel lines running from the tank.
