My computer is an old one with Windows XP. I updated to Google Chrome and now when I view a patent on Google Patents and view what I will be printing by using the print option, the data about the patent does not show up.

How can I print a patent from Google Patent search using Google Chrome on an old Windows XP computer?

My printer is an old HP 600 and I have it properly set up and connected.

Thanks in advance, for any tips that may lead me in the right direction to get this to work.

There are probably a few ways, but one easy way.

Install cutepdf and select "print to pdf" vice to your printer. Print to pdf will save a pdf file. You can then open and print the newly created pdf file.

If you don't have it already, you can install the free Adobe reader (get.adobe.com/reader). That will open the file and allow you to print.

When I load the patent in PDF a block appears on the bottom left of the screen. I did not notice that block before (maybe it was or was not there). I now have at least tried to install the cutepdf, I think I got it. Now that the block to click on for the PDF file appears after I load the PDF version of the file from Google Patents, when I click on the PDF block in the bottom left of the screen a full page of the patent appears and I can print that properly.

So now it works.

Thank you Curtis Newton.
