Since oil filter was raised...see if your can get AC Delco "Ultraguard". I think they only may make them for corvettes (& related like Hummer).

It comes in the UPF44 size, which won't fit on the LS7, as it uses the PF48 oil filter (which has an internal bypass in it, unlike other GM engines in the past which previously had the bypass in the oil filter mount on the engine block)
oops! Then I guess the EaO 32 I suggested will NOT fit.
Does Amsoil make a PF48 equivalent? That dry sump sure does complicate things, even though I'd love to have one on my LS1.

I don't believe Amsoil makes a filter to fit the LS7 just yet. Also keep in mind that starting in 2007, the LS2 also uses the PF48. I wonder if the new LS3 will use it also?
Yup...the Amsoil site calls for a Wix for the 7.0L 07 Vette....no Ea0 filter....yet.......
